Lechuza Beach Day

Community Nature Connection was granted a free bus from MRCA to take CNC staff and community members to an MRCA managed beach! We have 36 spaces available on the bus for a Beach Day at Lechuza Beach 31776 Broad Beach Rd, Malibu, CA 90265. We would like to extend the opportunity to visit the beach to CNC volunteers, friends, and family. If you are interested please fill out the registration at this link. The group will meet at LA River Center and Gardens 570 W Ave 26, Los Angeles, CA 90065 at 8:30am and board the bus at 8:55am. You will have time to enjoy the beach and team building activities hosted by CNC Staff. The bus returns to the LA River Center between 4:15-4:30pm. Below, please sign up volunteers, friends, and family who may be interested in visiting the Lechuza Beach!

Lechuza Beach is about a 1 hour and 15 minute drive (41.5 miles) from the L.A. River Center. All people attending the event are highly encouraged to ride the bus since there is limited parking onsite. Please advise to wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a hat, sunblock, a reusable water bottle, and stay hydrated on your visit. CNC will have water available and will provide lunch for all attendees. Snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and beach umbrellas are allowed at the beach. A lifeguard will be on duty if you want to swim in the ocean! For more information and to help you plan your visit, please look out for a text and/or email communication from the event Coordinator.

All guests attending are required to fill out a registration form and program waiver prior to boarding the bus to participate. Minors must be accompanied by a Parent and/or Legal Guardian and must also register and turn in a waiver signed by their Parent and/or Legal Guardian.
