About the Event
We'll be taking a schoolbus together to Cabrillo Marine Aquarium in San Pedro to watch the captivating grunion come up on the beach to spawn! Learn about the interesting mating rituals and biology of this curious fish. The program includes an auditorium program about the unique fish, the aquarium open for exploration, then a guided observation at the beach. During April, May and June (closed season), grunion may be observed but not touched. Spots are limited, so please let us know ASAP if you can no longer attend.
At Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, there will be food trucks, DJ music by KCRW and fish experts. Cabrillo Marine Aquarium's address is 3720 Stephen M White Dr, San Pedro, CA 90731
