About the Event
Meet us at Carson Community Center at 8:30am on the grass area near E. Carson St. Upon arrival, Happy Trail's staff will check-in folks and have guardians sign youth waivers. We will then board a bus and cruise through our California Coast to visit Malibu Lagoon State Beach, which will take about 1 hour and 10 minutes (traffic pending). The bus will drop us off at the Malibu shopping center right in front of the 534 Metro stop, where we will then stroll to Malibu Lagoon State Beach. Our stroll to Malibu Lagoon will consist of walking on concrete. During our walk to the site, we ask folks to be alert when crossing street lights and stay close to the group because we will be strolling through a populated shopping center and the heavily trafficked Pacific Coast Highway.
